What is an urn vault?
An urn vault is essentially a protective box for your urn for burial. Traditionally made of heavy, porous concrete & stone, the modern Crowne Vault urn vault is a specially engineered ABS polymer lid & base, created in 3 distinct sizes for the various needs of families.
How does the vault work?
They’re simple - place the urn and keepsakes inside the base, apply the adhesive to the base rim, lay the lid in place on the base rim & firmly press, then let cure for 10 minutes. Instructions & adhesive come with every Crowne Vault urn vault.
You mentioned customization - how do I do that?
It’s easy to personalize your Crowne Vault urn vault! In addition to our Regent colors & Memorial Accent Collection of Engraved Nameplates, Lifestyle Emblems and handmade Rose Garland, the vault surface accepts permanent markers and paints such as oil and acrylic.
Do I actually need one?
It depends - some cemeteries require them for the grounds integrity, others just recommend their usage. We of course always recommend them, as they not only keep the ashes safe and dry, but they also provide a way to include keepsakes with your loved one.
How do I know if my urn will fit?
We have a great sizing sheet to help you!
Our smallest compact Coronet is best for temporary containers/beloved pets; our best-selling medium Regent is ideal for single urns; our double Marquis can comfortably fit 2 large urns together.
